Despite his “passionate”and dedicated image cultivated over 21 years in the entertainment industry, TVXQ’s Yunho faced heavy criticism from former TEEN TOP member C.A.P for his attitude.
During a livestream several months ago, C.A.P “exposed”Yunho for shouting at younger colleagues and smoking in prohibited areas.
As stated by C.A.P, Yunho is known for his infectious energy and tendency to push others to keep up with his pace, often disregarding their thoughts and abilities.
“During rehearsals, I would frequently take breaks to relax, but Yunho would often praise me, saying things like ‘You’ve been doing great, even during our more lackluster rehearsals.’ However, he would also jokingly tease me, constantly pushing me to match his high energy level. It’s not always possible for everyone to perform at their best, as everyone has different levels of energy. I wasn’t even on the same team as Yunho, but his enthusiasm was infectious.”
C.A.P also recounted an incident where Yunho took charge during a rehearsal for a music show overseas. Apparently, all the artists were on stage casually going through the motions, when Yunho suddenly appeared and grabbed the microphone. He then proceeded to scold the 100 other idols in attendance for not giving their best during the rehearsal, leaving them stunned.
Additionally, C.A.P disclosed that despite his impaired vision, Yunho ridiculed him for not greeting him properly.
“Due to my busy schedule and poor eyesight, there are moments when I find it difficult to greet Yunho. I was changing in the dark and didn’t even realize he was there. However, Yunho would often use profanity to attack me, which only made me dislike him more. As an introvert, I struggle with simple tasks like greeting others. It may seem easy to some, but for someone like me, it’s a challenge to even open my mouth,”the male idol candidly shared.
Ultimately, C.A.P raised the issue of Yunho’s previous controversy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, remarking, “Although he portrays himself as a passionate senior who guides juniors and reprimands others, shouldn’t he set a good example before doing so?”
Ultimately, the ex-TEEN TOP member levied allegations against Yunho for smoking in prohibited spaces, specifically the restrooms at broadcasting stations.
“C.A.P. confirmed that he consistently smokes in that area. The strong odor of smoke makes it difficult for others to use the restroom. Despite it being a restricted area, he continues to use it as his personal smoking room.”
The comments made by C.A.P have generated considerable interest. Despite some individuals criticizing Yunho, many netizens are questioning the validity of C.A.P’s remarks. Some fans have taken action by reporting the situation to SM Entertainment, in hopes that the agency will issue an official response and defend Yunho against baseless accusations. However, SM has chosen not to address the matter.
