Twice, as a Hero, could have ended the perpetual conflict in My Hero Academia

In My Hero Academia, the characters are diverse and have a fascinating array of quirks. As the story takes place in a world where quirks exist, each character possesses distinct abilities that can be utilized in specific situations.

Throughout the manga, certain characters have become notable for their unique traits. Bakugo, Midoriya, All Might, and Aizawa are among those with impressive abilities. However, there is one antagonist whose exceptional skills could potentially sway the battle in the heroes’ favor if he were to join their side.

The character in question is Jin Bubaigawara, also known by his villain alias – Twice. In this article, we will examine his powers in the My Hero Academia anime and manga and explore how he could have aided the heroes in defeating the formidable foes, AFO and Shigaraki, at an earlier stage in the series.

One of the primary antagonists in the Paranormal Liberation War arc of the story was Twice. He started off as a member of the League of Villains and eventually rose to the position of one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. However, Hawks, the second-highest-ranked hero in the country, recognized the immense threat posed by this character and ultimately killed him. This was due to the dangerous nature of his quirk.

The animanga series features his unique quirk, known as Double. Although it may not excel in direct attacks, it is widely considered the most valuable support quirk in the series.

The unique ability granted him the power to generate two identical versions of any living or non-living object. This gave him the ability to replicate individuals such as All Might and Hawks, mimicking their actions and skills. The duplicates possessed full independence and adopted the traits of the original.

By creating a clone of himself, he could surpass the two-clone limit. This ability would enable his clones to possess the same powers as him and consequently produce even more clones. If he had joined forces with the protagonists in the anime and manga, the tide of the series would have shifted in their favor much sooner.

U.A. could have potentially initiated a full-scale assault on the most formidable adversaries in the series, such as AFO and Shigaraki, with the assistance of Twice. In theory, Twice’s powers could generate numerous clones, possibly in the hundreds or thousands.

It is easy to envision the immense impact that a group of All Mights and Midoriyas, accompanied by clones of supporting characters such as Momo and Uraraka Ochaco, could have on villains. Had this occurred in the earlier stages of the series, the Pro Heroes would have emerged victorious against the villains with minimal or no loss of life, thanks to Twice’s quirk.

Fans believe that Twice would have been the perfect choice for a “villain-turned-hero”due to his possession of one of the most powerful quirks in the entire series.
