Mina, Sana, and Momo of TWICE took a photo with a former K-pop idol, causing the interaction to gain popularity on social media.

TWICE’s “Ready to Be”concerts at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan were a resounding success, marking an important milestone for the group. As the first female K-pop group to perform at Japan’s largest stadium, TWICE made history with their two concerts. They also became the first foreign female artists to have the honor of performing on this prestigious stage.

Despite only two nights of performances, the concerts attracted an impressive 140,000 audience members, highlighting the girl group’s immense popularity in Japan. Not only did TWICE deliver successful concerts, but their Japanese sub-unit MISAMO is also gearing up for a highly-anticipated comeback. Set to release their second mini-album on October 30, MISAMO is building on the success of their debut in Japan earlier in July 2023.

An online photo featuring the three MISAMO members posing with a former K-pop star has caught the attention of fans. Yuto, a former member of PENTAGON, attended TWICE’s concert in Japan and posted pictures with MISAMO on his personal social media account. Fans were quick to point out Yuto’s mature appearance and beard, comparing him to an uncle standing next to the MISAMO members.

Despite the initial assumption, Yuto, who was born in 1998, is actually younger than Sana and Momo (born in 1996) and Mina (born in 1997). This revelation has surprised numerous netizens, who were unaware that Yuto is both younger and less experienced than the rest of TWICE.

Yuto Adachi, who was born on January 23, 1998 in Japan, made his official debut with PENTAGON under CUBE Entertainment in 2016. In October 2023, Yuto and several other PENTAGON members decided not to renew their contracts with CUBE, but it was confirmed that the group did not disband. Yuto has since signed with a new agency and is now primarily active in Japan.

After returning to Japan, Yuto’s co-member Hongseok disclosed that he had cut off all communication with the members and blocked them, despite still technically being a part of PENTAGON. The reason for this sudden action remains a mystery.

PENTAGON’s most recent Korean comeback was on January 24, 2022. The boy group released their twelfth mini-album, “In:vite U,”along with the lead single, “Feelin’ Like.”
