TWICE’s Jeongyeon’s Part-Time Job During Hiatus

On the 31st afternoon, a video called “Visited Gangnam’s House and Only Got Sanghwa’s Stuff?! First Time Receiving Couple’s Treasures!”was released on the YouTube channel ‘The Appraisers.’ The seventh episode included Gangnam as a special guest.

During the video, Gangnam was discussing his ownership of a café, to which Jeongyeon responded with surprise, sharing, “I used to have a part-time job at a café,”which left Gangnam shocked.

Gangnam was amazed, remarking, “You have truly led a hectic life. Balancing a part-time job, attending school, going to auditions, and now performing in stadiums? You should consider writing a book.”

During an interview, Jeongyeon was asked if she still recalls her time making drinks at the café. She admitted, “I’ve never shared this before, but during my break from activities because of my panic disorder, I took on a part-time job at a café owned by a friend.”Gangnam replied, “So, you didn’t let yourself stay stagnant, you stayed active.”

Jeongyeon shared, “My work schedule was from 6 AM to 4 PM,”to which Gangnam teasingly responded, “You must have put in a lot of effort. I wonder how much your friend had to pay you. I can imagine they almost went bankrupt.”

Fortunately, Jeongyeon explained that the owner was understanding, prompting Gangnam to jokingly comment that she should have been operating a café during that situation.

After taking a hiatus in 2020 due to her anxiety disorder, Jeongyeon resumed her activities in June 2021. However, just two months later, she had to halt them again, causing concern among her fans. She has since resumed her activities in February 2022 and is currently hosting the web variety show ‘The Appraisers.’
