Melonie Mac has boasted about her regular routine of being banned from Twitch due to her repeated use of a homophobic slur during a Bible stream.
Melonie Mac is no stranger to causing controversy and is often unafraid to stir things up with her content.
Melonie, a devout Christian and self-proclaimed social commentator, often makes derogatory comments towards the LGBTQ+ community and has been repeatedly banned from Twitch as a result.
After receiving her seventh ban from the platform on September 5, she went to X (formerly Twitter) to boast about her regular “monthly routine”.

The streamer explained their reasoning for Twitch’s intervention “this time”by stating that they had done a full stream dedicated to reading the Bible, during which they used the homophobic slur “f****t”a few times.
There is not an official compilation of words that are prohibited on Twitch, yet using offensive language pertaining to sexual orientation can lead to a suspension.
“Melonie wrote that this had become a regular occurrence for her, stating that she found her repeated bans “amusing”and was currently on a successful streak, as seen in her tweet.“
Despite Melonie finding humor in her bans, there are those who are unimpressed by Twitch’s repeated decision to allow the controversial content creator back on their platform after numerous offenses.
A user on X raised the question of why Twitch was continuously giving Melonie “multiple opportunities”, stating that YouTube was also doing the same even though accounts were being “permanently banned for lesser offenses on a daily basis.”

The user went on to say that she is not apologetic and has no intention of changing her behavior. They believe she is making fun of the consequences she receives for her actions. Another individual echoed this sentiment by commenting on a tweet, stating that they are baffled as to why she continues to be allowed back on the platform after multiple bans.
Despite this, Melonie is not bothered by the fact that her Twitch account status is unchanged. She explains that she does not depend on Twitch income and therefore it does not affect her. In fact, she sees no reason to continue streaming on the platform except for the fun of it.
