The controversial post, shared on Twitch’s account on X (formerly Twitter) on April 14, depicted an attempt to create a character resembling ExtraEmily in the simulation game inZOI. However, the timing of the promotion—immediately following her 24-hour suspension—sparked a wave of criticism and mockery online.

The Background of the Suspension

ExtraEmily, who has built a reputation for her high-energy IRL content and her association with the gaming organization OTK, faced a 24-hour suspension on April 13. This disciplinary action came as a result of her streaming while driving and running a red light, which goes against Twitch’s strict guidelines prohibiting dangerous activities during live broadcasts.

The response to the promotional post was swift and largely negative. Notable streamer Nmplol chimed in with sarcastic support, stating, “This was awesome!
