IRL Twitch streamer Jinny, known as Jinnytty, was left utterly speechless after her Uber driver was involved in a car crash and subsequently confronted by the other driver.
The popular South Korean Twitch streamer has gained over 1 million followers, largely due to her engaging and adventurous IRL broadcasts on the platform.
Jinny frequently travels to various countries and locations to explore and stream her experiences. Recently, she visited San Diego, California, for TwitchCon 2024.
Following the convention, she opted to remain in California for some post-event exploration. Unfortunately, on September 24, her Uber driver crashed the vehicle, leaving her shocked.
Jinny was reclining in the back seat when the sudden accident jolted her forward. The Uber driver promptly exited the vehicle to speak with the other driver involved in the crash.
“You were looking down,” the other driver exclaimed. “You weren’t even looking up. You weren’t paying attention!”
While Jinny’s Uber driver also had some strong comments, viewers couldn’t capture his remarks in the stream VOD while he was outside the car. Upon reentering the vehicle, however, he was heard saying “Go away.”
Viewers in her Twitch chat quickly urged the IRL streamer to order another Uber, though she hesitated initially. Eventually, the driver spoke with her, and they mutually decided to cancel the ride so she could secure a new driver.
This incident is just one of many that have occurred during Jinny’s IRL streaming sessions on Twitch. In 2022, she faced an interruption from a drunk stranger who criticized her for pursuing a “sad” career as a Twitch streamer.
In April 2023, her stream was disrupted again when strangers began taking pictures of her, a situation she described as “awkward.” Just days before that occurrence, police were called after a hooded man had been following Jinny around Taiwan for hours.
