Twitch streamer Elina recently raised alarm among her fans after fainting during a live broadcast. Following the incident, she provided an update on her condition, disclosing that she had sustained injuries and required medical attention.
Known for her engaging content, Elina is a popular Swedish Twitch streamer boasting over 66,000 followers. On December 10, 2024, while donning a full Indiana Jones costume, she exhibited concerning symptoms while playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
During the stream, viewers noticed Elina closing her eyes and cradling her head. Shortly afterward, she fainted, falling backward from her gaming chair, with her upper body almost completely off the seat.
Upon regaining consciousness, she appeared dazed and confused. “Oh my god,” she softly murmured, visibly shaken by the ordeal.
After attempting to resume her stream, Elina fainted a second time, compelling her to conclude the broadcast and seek emergency medical care.
Elina’s Experience with Low Blood Pressure
The following day, Elina took to Twitter to clarify the situation. She reported experiencing low blood pressure, which precipitated her fainting spells.
“It was scary and looks alarming on the stream, so I apologize for that,” she tweeted. “I spent last night at the doctor’s, and they confirmed that I have extremely low blood pressure, which caused me to faint twice in quick succession.”
Elina also noted that she had injured her face on a side table and hurt her lower body during the fall. Nevertheless, she reassured her audience that she was doing better and was actively monitoring her health.

Elina revealed that she had experienced dizzy spells several times throughout the year, indicating the possibility of requiring further medical tests. Her viewers expressed deep concern, sending supportive messages as she took a day off for recuperation.
Maintaining her sense of humor, Elina joked about concluding her stream “with a bang” during her return on December 11.
Elina’s experience is not unique in the streaming community. Other streamers, such as League of Legends player ‘Thebausffs,’ have also faced unfortunate accidents during broadcasts. In July, Thebausffs struck his head hard enough to require medical attention, stopping his stream prematurely.
