Twitch Streamer Reacts to Gunshots Outside Her Window

A Twitch streamer reacted with fear and quickly sought cover when a barrage of gunshots were heard during her live stream.

On May 11, ‘StrawberrySuz’, a Twitch streamer who is 24 years old, leaped from her chair when she heard gunshots nearby.

StrawberrySuz was in the midst of testing out the Chinese farming simulation game ‘My Time at Portia’ when she suddenly heard the sound of multiple gunshots coming from outside her home.

The Twitch streamer quickly dove off her chair as the shots continued to ring out, seeking cover and avoiding any potential bullets that could have entered her room and possibly ricocheted.

“Oh my goodness! What in the world,”she exclaimed. “I have no idea what just happened. My window is ajar.”

Suddenly, the room fell silent. However, the sound of a young child making noises in the background broke the peacefulness. The streamer was then spotted crawling on the floor, making their way to the other side of the room.

Fortunately, the influencer was unharmed and resumed her seat, stating that she was “shaken but okay.”She took a moment to regain her composure before continuing with the broadcast and engaging with her chat once again.

Despite not disclosing her whereabouts, she clarified that she was situated on the second level of an affordable housing complex in the United States. Thankfully, she is unharmed and the event has left her visibly disturbed.

Throughout the years, there have been multiple occurrences of gunfire breaking out on Twitch or other live-streaming platforms.

During a drive-by shooting outside his building while playing Escape from Tarkov, ’50calapr’ took matters into his own hands and retrieved his own rifle to confront the attackers. This occurred last year.

In a separate event in 2022, gamer ‘MikeCheck’, known for his Apex Legends YouTube channel, narrowly avoided a fatal injury when a bullet struck his monitor while he was playing.

During a live broadcast on Twitch in October of 2022, a couple from Chicago captured a drive-by shooting, expressing that they were overcome with fear during the incident.
