Twitch streamer Emilycc has achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing 20,000 active subscribers on her channel, a feat significantly boosted by a shoutout from fellow streamer Kai Cenat during his record-breaking Mafiathon 2 stream.

Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 has made waves in the streaming community, setting a new benchmark with over 720,000 subscriptions. What sets this event apart is its unique structure; unlike many subathons that are indefinite, Mafiathon 2 had a 30-day limit.

In certain instances, however, such as with Emilycc’s subathon, community support can result in subathons that continue indefinitely, with the events only concluding when the timer reaches zero.

Emilycc Reaches 20,000 Twitch Subscribers

Notably, Emilycc holds the record for the longest subathon on Twitch with an unprecedented streak of over 1,100 consecutive days of streaming. Throughout this time, she maintained a modest average viewership of under 200, highlighting her dedication and perseverance.

This all changed when Kai Cenat noticed her stream. His shoutout during Mafiathon 2 was a game changer, inviting Emilycc for an interview where they discussed her record-setting subathon.

As a direct result of this exposure, her average viewership skyrocketed to more than 1,000, culminating in a peak of over 11,000 viewers. Shortly after the shoutout, her subscriber count surged past 10,000 and has continued to grow, reaching the impressive figure of 20,000.

After three years of commitment to her subathon, Emilycc’s achievements are finally paying off. With 20,000 subscribers, she’s looking at potential earnings exceeding $50,000.

Expressing her disbelief, Emilycc stated, “Oh my god, I never thought in a million years this would ever happen. Thank you so much. … I never thought I would ever hit that [number]. That’s insane.”

Currently in Los Angeles, she is collaborating with OfficeDrummer, who also benefited from the exposure generated by Cenat’s stream.

Additionally, Emilycc is set to attend the Streamer Awards hosted by QTCinderella on December 7, and she will continue her stream while at the event, showcasing her dedication to her audience.

The influx of subscribers will inevitably extend her subathon since every new subscriber contributes to increasing the stream’s countdown timer. As her subscriber base grows, Emilycc has now secured a spot among the top 25 most-subscribed streamers on Twitch.
