The Korean Enterprise Reputation Research Institute obtained 13,978,943 pieces of big data on newly debuted idol group brands from July 1st, 2024 to August 1st, 2024 for analysis. This is a decrease of 8.33% compared to the 15,249,035 pieces of data collected in July.
In the ranking of rookie idol group brand reputation in August 2024, the top 30 consisted of TWS, tripleS, RIIZE, QWER, BABYMONSTER, KISS OF LIFE, ILLIT, ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, EVNNE, UNIS, POW, ARTMS, BADVILLAIN, CANDY SHOP, KATSEYE, BIG OCEAN, THE WIND, SPIA, YOUNG POSSE, NOWADAYS, FANTASY BOYS, ONE PACT, X:IN, NiziU, 8Eight, Hori7on, ALL(H)OURS, LIMELIGHT, and ASC2NT.
The rookie idol group TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) achieved the top spot in brand reputation rankings with a participation index of 303,506, media index of 380,165, communication index of 648,828, and community index of 759,028, resulting in an overall brand reputation index of 2,091,526. This marks a significant 68.05% increase from their July brand reputation index of 1,244,609.
The Director of the Korean Enterprise Reputation Research Institute, Goo Chang-hwan, stated that in the August 2024 rankings for rookie idol group brand reputation, TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) took the top spot. The evaluation of brand categories for rookie idol groups showed a decrease of 8.33% compared to the previous month’s big data of 15,249,035 pieces. Further analysis revealed a 2.18% decrease in brand consumption, a 2.40% increase in brand issue, a 17.05% decrease in brand communication, and a 10.61% decrease in brand diffusion.
According to his statement, the TWS brand emerged as the top-ranked rookie idol group brand in August 2024, with impressive scores in the categories of “intense,””refreshing,”and “youthful”in link analysis. In keyword analysis, “42,””plot twist,”and “summer beat”were also among the top-ranking terms. The overall positivity ratio was 86.79%.
