TXT’s Yeonjun Apologizes for Disrespecting Liberation Day

On August 16th, around 2 AM, Yeonjun posted a statement on his official account and the fan communication platform Weverse. In his statement, he acknowledged that he had failed to respect the historical significance of Liberation Day and had carelessly uploaded photos. He then sincerely apologized to anyone who was hurt by his thoughtless actions.

He stated, “I will take time to contemplate my faults and will be more cautious going forward to prevent a recurrence. I want to reiterate my sincere apologies to everyone.”

On August 15th, Yeonjun sparked controversy by uploading photos of his recent activities, including some taken on the streets of Japan.

At the same time, TXT will be hosting their offline fan event, “PLAY X TOGETHER 2024,”on August 20th at the Arts and Physical Education Hall of Myongji College in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. This will be an opportunity for the group to reunite with their loyal fans, MOA.
