The release date for the highly anticipated anime, “Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister,”has been confirmed for October 1, 2024. The show’s official staff announced that it will run for 24 episodes, as revealed in the main promotional video on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Additionally, the clip also features the opening theme song for the series.
Studio Drive produced the Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime, which is based on Marcey Naito’s manga of the same name. Naito-san originally released the manga as a one-shot in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2020, which was later picked up for serialization by the magazine.

On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime’s official website and X (previously known as Twitter) handle released the full promotional video and declared the show’s release date as October 1, 2024. The anime is scheduled for a two-cour run consisting of 24 episodes.
According to the most recent broadcast information, it has been confirmed that the anime Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister will be airing its episodes on TV Tokyo, BS Nippon, and other channels every Tuesday at 24:00 JST, beginning on October 1, 2024 (which will effectively be Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 12 am JST).
The most recent trailer showcases the main character, Uryu Kamihate, along with the three Amagami sisters – Asahi, Yuna, and Yae. Along with this, the brief clip also introduces important characters like Shirahi Tsuruyama. The footage gives a sneak peek into the voices of Uryu, Asahi, and other characters, as well as stunning scenery.
In addition, the trailer features a sneak peek at the opening theme song, “Yawaku Koishite ~Zutto Bokura de Iramaeru Yo ni~”(Love Me Gently ~May We Stay Together Forever~), performed by Momoiro Clover Z. The official website for the anime has also shared comments from the song’s artist, lyricist Kenji Otsuki, and composer NARASAKI, expressing their hope that the song will deeply connect with the audience.
An advanced screening of the Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime will take place on September 5, 2024, at the Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo, Japan, accompanied by a talk event. The event will feature the voice actors of Yae, Yuna, Asahi, and Uryu.
The main cast of the anime includes Uryu Kamihate portrayed by Ryota Suzuki, Yae Amagami played by Sumire Uesaka, Yuna Amagami voiced by Kaede Hondo, Asahi Amagami brought to life by Shion Wakayama, Shirahi Tsuruyama embodied by Chika Anzai, and Mahiro Anekoji portrayed by Nana Mizuki.
Yujiro Abe is the director of the series at Studio Drive, with assistance from Hiroshi Watanabe as the assistant director and Yasuko Aoki as the script supervisor and writer. The character designer credited for the series is Haruko Iizuka, known for their work on Horiyama. Ryo Kawasaki and Tomoyuki Kono are the music composers, while Takayuki Yamaguchi serves as the sound director.
