Despite his incredible streak, Tyler1 continues to dominate in chess, having reached a new milestone of 1905 elo in just 10 months. This achievement places him in the top 0.5% of players globally.
Tyler1 is undoubtedly the top choice for streaming the grind. After all, he was the first LoL streamer to achieve Champion status on all five roles while live streaming on Twitch.
Despite already conquering LoL, it appears that Tyler’s drive for success knows no bounds as he has now set his sights on conquering Chess as well. Surprisingly, just eight months after picking up the game, he reached an impressive 1700 Elo. And even more impressive, just two weeks after becoming a father, he achieved a new milestone of 1800 Elo.
After 10 months of embarking on his chess journey, he has achieved a 1900 Elo rating, placing him among the top 0.5% of players worldwide.

Tyler1 achieved a 1905 Elo rating after winning a game of Rapid, solidifying his place among the top players in the game of chess.
Despite being ranked at number 53,624 globally, which is the highest among all players, chess Grandmaster Andrey Gutov’s Elo of 1905 in just 10 months is a remarkable achievement that cannot be underestimated.
For comparison, the majority of players have an elo rating of around 400, and skilled players are likely to reach a peak of approximately 1500. Those who surpass 2300 elo are typically considered professional players, and those who exceed 2500 are among the top ranks of FIDE. Tyler is approaching this level of expertise.
One individual who perfectly captures the response of the chess community is GothamChess. In disbelief, they tweeted, “This is beyond belief. Tyler1 has achieved an impressive 1900 Elo in chess, placing him in the top 0.5% of players in the world. Keep in mind, he only started learning chess 10 months ago. Is he even human?”
