On July 18th, Tzuyang streamed live on her YouTube channel with the title “Releasing the Threatening Video.”
The live broadcast opened with a video from YouTuber Gu Je-yeok to Tzuyang, in which he revealed that he had received information from an anonymous source regarding Tzuyang’s tax evasion. He also claimed that she had committed tax evasion under the name of her former boyfriend’s family.
Upon further investigation, the lawyer clarified that Tzuyang had never intended to release the video. However, due to Gu Je-yeok’s claims of innocence, the decision was made to release the video as evidence of their truthful accusation.
The lawyer expressed their surprise, stating that they had attempted to reason with Tzuyang. They were concerned about the difficulty of explaining the situation, as the damage caused by her former CEO had not been fully recovered. However, they asked for understanding as Tzuyang had displayed courage and a strong sense of responsibility. They kindly requested for others to refrain from making hurtful comments.
“The remaining individuals were searched after a warrant was issued for Gu. I believe it would be best to wait for the investigation’s findings. He emphasized that it is important to understand that what Gu Je-yeok claimed is false.”
