A passenger became an internet sensation after claiming that they were charged for playing a game while traveling. This shocking revelation left viewers stunned.

Gaining more than 2 million views, journalist Ford Sanders filmed himself playing a claw machine game that was attached to the headrest of a passenger’s seat in an Uber.

There was a button labeled “Tap to Drop”that he clicked, and it informed him that he had won a cartoon animal named Sheldon the Turtle.

Suddenly, his expression transformed into one of complete shock, as the text overlay on the video read “Clicking that button cost me $1.53.”

Upon the video’s release, there was widespread shock and confusion among people, as they couldn’t understand the reason behind the game’s pricing.

“Wait, does this charge you?”one exclaimed, showing clear surprise.

Another person wrote in, saying, “This is why I decline everything with a ‘No, thank you’.”

Despite not providing evidence of being charged for the game, Sanders’ revelation prompted others to share their own similar experiences.

They admitted, “I did this at Olive Garden, thinking that the games were complimentary.”

One person mentioned that they had previously played one of the games without being charged. They stated, “I did this in Miami, but I wasn’t charged.”

The game featured in the video is owned by a company named Octopus, which provides complimentary tablets to drivers working for Uber, Lyft, and other transportation companies.

According to them, it presents an opportunity for drivers to “interact with passengers”and potentially receive additional gratuities.

The video may make claims about charging for playing these games, but in reality, there is no cost involved. According to the website, Octopus games are completely free. The company is able to offer free tablets to high-performing drivers by displaying brief advertisements between games.

After one of their drivers surprised a customer with a fake identity on the app, Uber also gained viral attention.
