Despite this, his actions of rescuing stranded dogs during devastating flooding in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, have earned him the title of a real-life superhero in the eyes of all dog enthusiasts.
The consistent occurrence of rain has led to a rapid increase in river levels over the past few weeks, resulting in widespread destruction and disorder.
Pereira can be spotted in a viral video standing on the roof of a building, completely surrounded by water, holding a flashlight in his mouth and carrying a dog on his hip.

Pereira escorted the terrified pooch, along with a group of other dogs, to a safe and flood-free environment, rescuing them all in the process.

The individual, who is 30 years old and from Marabá, Pará, Brazil, which is almost three thousand kilometers north of Rio Grande do Sul, spent the weekend assisting individuals who were affected by the ongoing floods. As a result, they were able to save numerous lives.
