Inversion has announced that the Arc program is on track for its maiden flight in 2026. The company has made significant progress by constructing a full-scale prototype, conducting simulations, executing precision drop tests, and collaborating with NASA to develop advanced thermal protection systems designed to withstand extreme reentry conditions.

To facilitate accurate landings, Arc employs an actively controlled parachute system that enables steering and maneuverability throughout its descent. This system is powered by Inversion’s proprietary flight computer, which integrates AI, advanced navigation, control algorithms, and computer vision technology to ensure precise landings within mere feet of their designated targets.
