Among the most sought-after accessories in Ninja Time is the legendary Ankokuji or the Akatsuki Cloak. Acquiring this coveted item requires players to become part of the exclusive Akatsuki Secret Gang within the game.
Steps to Join the Akatsuki in Ninja Time
To embark on your journey to join the Akatsuki, you must first reach at least level 80. This requirement means that newcomers will need to invest significant time in gameplay, completing quests, battling bosses, and advancing through the storyline. Typically, players can expect this grind to take anywhere from three days to a week.
Once you achieve the required level, head to the Hidden Leaf Village and locate the Hokage NPC inside the Hokage Building, situated in the village’s rear area. If you are uncertain about the building’s location, refer to the image above for guidance.
During your interaction with the Hokage, accept the mission titled Elite Secret, which allows you to proceed towards becoming a Renegade. Make sure to select this option instead of Secret ANBU in the subsequent prompt.
Your next objective is to obtain the Talisman. This requires collecting Chi Essence, an item that drops from almost every boss in the game. To expedite your efforts, focus on farming from Demon Brother Right, Stone Leo, Icy, and Stone Brother, as these enemies have a 25% drop rate and are relatively easy to defeat.
After successfully gathering 18 Chi Essences, proceed to meet Hagiromo (the God NPC), located west of the Hidden Village under a tree (as depicted in the image above).He will exchange your Chi Essences for a single Talisman.
With the Talisman in hand, make your way to the Akatsuki Cave. This location is to the south of the Hidden Village, past the Forest area. Exit through the southern main gate and continue straight to find the cave near a river. Utilize the Talisman on the designated object to unlock the cave, where you will encounter the Akatsuki leader who will accept you as his apprentice.
Complete your introductory mission for the leader, and as a reward, you’ll receive the Akatsuki Cloak. This item grants significant benefits, enhancing your gameplay experience:
- +10% Vitality
- +10% Chakra
