A dedicated Nintendo enthusiast has designed an innovative 3D-printed accessory that enables gamers to attach a container of McDonald’s fries to their Switch 2 Joy-Cons. This clever invention, known as the ‘GamiFries, ’ takes advantage of the new magnetic attachment system introduced with the Switch 2.

The GamiFries accessory securely holds a medium-sized McDonald’s fry container between the two Joy-Con controllers. It can also be utilized in handheld mode by securing the container between one controller and the console screen.

This design is freely available, allowing anyone to download the 3D printing files and create their own fry holder.

Keep It in the Carton

Although GamiFries is not an official product from Nintendo, it is meticulously designed to fit the dimensions and magnetic system of the Switch 2’s Joy-Con controllers. It remains ambiguous whether the magnets need to be glued post-printing or if they are integrated during the printing process.

The creator, user7R135, has shared a video on YouTube that demonstrates the accessory in action in both handheld mode and when paired with controllers.

The GamiFries is specifically designed to accommodate fries in their container; users should avoid placing loose fries directly into the accessory. The forward-facing cutout is crafted to prominently feature the McDonald’s logo when the accessory is in use.

However, this ingeniously designed accessory is currently limited to medium fry containers. Fans keen on larger sizes, such as the popular large or XXL fries, will need to wait and see if there are future updates or variations from the designer.
