However, keep in mind that you cannot catch a Mega Evolution directly, so the only way to get Mega Houndoom is to catch its regular version and then evolve it into Mega Houndoom using 100 Mega Energy.
The primary method of obtaining Mega Houndoom Energy is by defeating Mega Houndoom in Raid Battles, rewarding you with at least 50 Mega Energy each time. The more you defeat it, the more energy you will collect.
Players can also acquire Mega Energy for completing research tasks or by walking with their Buddy Pokémon.
Can Mega Houndoom Be Shiny?
Yes, Mega Houndoom can be Shiny in Pokémon Go, a feature that was introduced in 2018.
Players participating in Mega Raids might encounter Shiny Mega Houndoom, identifiable by its steel blue fur, replacing the typical black.
