The Royallween event for 2024 has officially kicked off in Royale High, welcoming players to join in the fun! As customary, a variety of mini-games await for participation, allowing players to earn candies which can be exchanged for thrilling accessories available in the shop. Read on for an extensive guide featuring all the mini-games, instructions on how to play, and details on the rewards up for grabs!
Quick Candy Collection in Royallween 2024
This year introduces a schedule for mini-game events unlike any previous ones. Players can engage in games only during their designated times. For instance, if the costume contest is set for 8:00 PM, participation is restricted to that specific in-game time. To check the day’s Schedule, simply click on the Schedule option located at the center of your screen.
Additionally, there are two to three games that do not adhere to the Schedule and can be accessed directly at the Falling Leaves Festival area after 5:00 PM. To participate in these games, players must collect tix (tickets) available at the festival entrance. Navigate to the Falling Leaves Festival by selecting it via the Schedule menu.
Acorn Counting Challenge
The Acorn Counting Challenge stands out as the simplest game in the Halloween Update, requiring players to count the number of acorns falling on their screen within a limited timeframe. If done accurately, participants can earn around 20 Candies. You can join this game for 1 Tix in the Falling Leaves Festival area, located near the pond, without a schedule restriction. The festival becomes accessible post 5:00 PM.
Apple Picking Contest!
In the Apple Picking Contest, players will engage in a fun mini-game focused on rapidly picking apples from a tree within a set time limit. Depending on how many apples you gather, the reward can range from 20 to 100 candies. Make sure to consult your Schedule to find out when the Apple Picking Contest is available.
Card Matching Challenge
The Card Matching Challenge, similar to the Acorn game, is an easy option requiring 2 Tix. Players will see a grid of cards and must flip them over, looking for matching pairs. Memorizing card patterns and revealing them correctly can earn you approximately 20 to 30 candies. This mini-game is exclusive to the purple tent in the Falling Leaves Festival area and does not feature in the Schedule.
Clean Up Challenge
The Clean Up Challenge, a thrilling mini-game requiring 4 Tix, invites players to clean up fallen leaves scattered across the map. Grab a vacuum cleaner from the stall and collect leaves for candies—receiving one candy for roughly every 4 to 6 leaves. Players may collect up to 650 leaves daily and can begin again the next day. This engaging mini-game is a top contender for candy collection and is located near the pond at the Clean-Up stall.
Culinary Challenge
Within the Sugar Dough Bakery at the Falling Leaves Festival, players can engage in the Cooking/Baking mini-game to acquire candies. To get started, interact with the tabletop and choose your desired recipe. You will see the potential candy rewards for each recipe, so opting for the more complex options yields more candies. Once the ingredients are selected from the shelf or fridge, mix in the container and bake in the competition oven. Completing the recipe rewards you with candies!
Costume Contest
As the name suggests, the Costume Contest is a fashion competition where players must style their characters with available accessories in line with the announced theme. The theme is disclosed 30 minutes before the contest and changes with each round. During one of my rounds, the Vintage theme was revealed, leading to many players donning era-appropriate attire to impress. Depending on your placement, you can earn between 20 to 120 candies. Although the exact themes vary, they often revolve around Halloween, ghosts, princesses, and vintage aesthetics. Adapt your outfit to match the theme using your inventory!
Pumpkin Patch Harvest Event
The Pumpkin Patch Harvest is another picking challenge akin to the Apple Picking Contest in which players aim to gather the largest pumpkin from the field and weigh it before time runs out. If your pumpkin is declared the heaviest among participants, you will be crowned the winner. Players can earn between 20 and 100 Candies depending on their leaderboard position.
Spooky Corn Maze Adventure
The Spooky Corn Maze Adventure is the most intricate game within the current Halloween festivities. To succeed, players simply need to navigate from one end of the maze to the other within 120 seconds. While I can’t provide strategies due to its constantly changing layout, I recommend heading right and following the lights to find the exit easier, as it tends to be on the right side. The rewards for this game can vary greatly, ranging from 20 to 150 candies based on your completion time.
Witches Night Flight
The Witches Night Flight is a racing game that challenges players to race to the finish line using their brooms within a stipulated time. It’s a straightforward and entertaining game that rewards participants with a fair amount of candies.
