With Halloween around the corner, Candywriter has unveiled a fresh Scavenger Hunt for players to enjoy. As is typical, there are no hints available for the Halloween Scavenger Hunt tasks, making it quite difficult for participants to achieve completion.
Strategies for the Halloween Scavenger Hunt in BitLife
To successfully navigate the Halloween Scavenger Hunt, you’ll need to accomplish a series of individual tasks. Specifically, you’re looking at 11 varied tasks, which can range from adopting a canine to training as a mortician. Below, I’ve compiled a list of these tasks, complete with tips and hints to help you complete them more efficiently!
Black Cat: Adopt a Cat
- Access the Pets feature from the Minds & Body section. Then, select the Animal Shelter option to adopt a cat. Generally, the adoption agency will accept your application unless you have prior criminal or drug-related issues.
Holey Sheet: Compliment a Spirit
- This task can be quite tricky because you first need to locate a spirit and then compliment them. The quickest method involves saving up some cash to purchase a haunted house. Once you have one, go to the Activities section to summon a ghost using the Spirit option. After it appears, simply select the Compliment option to complete the task. You should usually survive this encounter, but be aware that sometimes it could lead to your demise.
Jack-O-Lantern: Engage in Porch Pirating
- For this objective, you must pilfer at least one package from your neighbors. After reaching the age of 10, head to the Crime tab and choose the Porch Pirate option once or twice to complete this task.
Muh Strong Hand: Become a Pickpocket
- This task is straightforward! When you turn 15, navigate to the Crime section under Activities and select Pickpocket. Choose any target from the list to complete the task.
Mummy: Taxidermy a Relative
- This quest requires a bit of luck, as you’ll need to wait for a relative to pass away before taxiderming them. In my gameplay, I taxidermied my virtual sister instead of opting for cremation.
Shrunken Head: Visit the Witch Doctor
- This is a relatively easy task. Open the Activities menu and select Doctor. From the list, choose the Witch Doctor to complete this challenge. Keep in mind that you’ll need to pay a consultation fee, so ensure you have enough cash prior to the visit.
Sugar Skull: Mourn a Dead Family Member
- This task is straightforward as well. Navigate to the Relationship tab and select a deceased family member from the Late Relationships section to mourn them. Please note this task applies only to humans and not to pets.
Vampire Coffin: Become a Mortician
- For this challenge, you must pursue a career as a Mortician. This profession only requires a high school diploma. So, after completing high school, check the Jobs section for a listing titled Mortician (Mortuary). If you find it, apply and answer a simple question about running a mortuary for the job. If you can’t find a listing, simply age up to refresh the available job options.
Werewolf Fur: Adopt a Dog
- Similar to adopting a cat as part of the Black Cat quest, visit an animal shelter and adopt a dog to fulfill this task.
Witch’s Brew: Have a Drink at a Club
- To accomplish the Witch’s Brew objective, you need to drink at a club. In BitLife, you can’t directly buy a drink for yourself; you have to receive one from another person. Therefore, keep selecting the Nightlife option within Activities until you obtain a drink from a stranger.
Witches Broomstick: Fly an Airplane
- The final task of the Halloween Scavenger Hunt requires flying an airplane. This will cost a considerable amount, typically ranging from $100K to $500K. Therefore, secure a high-income position, such as a lawyer, doctor, or musician, to quickly accumulate the necessary funds. After obtaining the funds, pursue a Pilot License through the Licenses section, pay for flight school, and complete the pilot training by answering a few flying-related questions. Finally, purchase an airplane from the shopping tab to wrap up this challenge.
Rewards for Completing the BitLife Halloween Scavenger Hunt
Upon finishing the Halloween Scavenger Hunt, you’ll receive a random piece of clothing or accessory, which could be sunglasses, hats, or even shirts. During my experience, I received some stylish eyewear called Cool Cat Aviators that complemented my character when I transitioned to pilot for the last task.
