Ultimate Guide to the GPO Halloween Event: Spooksville Island, Candies, and More

Halloween has come to GPO, and in honor of the festive season, the developers have unveiled a new island designed for trick-or-treating and battling unique candy skeletons. Below, you’ll find a straightforward guide detailing everything you need to know about the Halloween festivities in GPO.

How to Access Spooksville Island in GPO

To kick off the Halloween celebrations, you must head to the newly introduced Spooksville Island. You can reach this island by traveling west from the Towns of Beginnings or heading southwest from the Island of Zhou. On my journey, I went directly from the Towns of Beginnings towards Spooksville Island in a westward direction. The island is easily recognizable by its eerie, misty ambiance.

How to Acquire Candies in GPO

The core focus of the GPO Halloween event is to collect candies that can be exchanged for special rewards at the Halloween Store. You can either engage in Trick-or-Treating or defeat Candy Skeletons to gather these goodies. For Trick-or-Treating, make your way to the witch located at the island’s center and buy the Pumpkin Bag for 5000 Peli.

With your Pumpkin Bag, you can start trick-or-treating by knocking on each door on the island. Sometimes you’ll receive candy, while other times you might not get anything. Based on my experience, you can expect to collect between 1 and 5 candies from a single house during this activity.

In addition to trick-or-treating, you can also take down the Candy Skeletons that appear at dusk to collect candies. The amount you earn from these battles typically ranges from 3 to 8 candies. They make for a moderately challenging foe, so it’s advisable to be at least level 15 or higher to defeat them efficiently. They usually defend themselves quite a bit in combat, so keep attacking to break their block and then unleash your devil fruit or combat style moves for the final blow.

If your Pumpkin Bag starts filling up too quickly, consider upgrading to a Pumpkin Basket or a Candy Corn Basket, which can accommodate up to 500 candies.
