The recent update for Palworld has introduced an exciting feature that allows players to change the appearance of their armor, also known as transmogging. This addition enables users to maintain a cohesive visual style while frequently changing their gear and accessories. Below, we outline how to transmog armor effectively in Palworld.
Acquiring the Antique Dresser in Palworld

To customize your armor’s appearance, the first step involves creating an Antique Dresser. This new piece of furniture was introduced with the latest update in March and must be unlocked before it can be used.
To unlock the Antique Dresser, players need to access the Technology menu, available at level 22, where it can be unlocked for one Ancient Technology Point. Once this milestone is achieved, you can construct the Antique Dresser anywhere on your base by navigating to the Furniture tab in the build menu. The building process will require specific resources, which include:
- 100 Wood
- 30 Stone
- 20 Fiber
- 5 Ancient Civilization Parts
By the time players reach level 22, they should have gathered sufficient materials to construct the Antique Dresser. This valuable item will allow users to modify the looks of both their character and equipment without impacting their current stats.
Steps to Transmog Armor in Palworld

After successfully constructing the Antique Dresser, players can interact with it to access the customization options. Select the Change Equipment Appearance option, which will lead you to a comprehensive menu. Here, you can alter the visuals of your headgear, armor, and glider while keeping the existing stats of your equipped items intact.
This transmog feature significantly enhances the gameplay experience, allowing you to express your unique style in Palworld while stepping into battles with optimal gear.
