Employ Scouts to uncover and pinpoint your objectives using their extensive network. Instead of directly marking a target, they provide three critical clues: the Province of the target’s location, the specific area, and a notable landmark nearby to direct your search.
To effectively dispatch Scouts for objective tracking:
- Access your world map.
- Observe the assassin icon in the bottom left corner, alongside bright dots representing your available Scouts for the current season.
- If you are on a specific mission, check the clues about the related objective’s potential locations.
- Issue the command ‘Scout the Objective’ to prompt Scouts to search that vicinity, enhancing your search area with the number of Scouts dispatched.

To clear your status, open the map and hover over the wanted area. Subsequently, press the button labeled ‘Clear Regional Alert’ located in the bottom right corner of the screen to regain safe exploration.

Increase your number of Scouts in Assassin’s Creed Shadows by upgrading your Hideout’s Study. Each enhancement adds an additional Scout, thereby expanding your total Scout pool.
