Who claimed that quickscoping is no longer relevant?
The definition of quickscoping has always sparked debate among players. To successfully execute this technique, you must swiftly fire a sniper rifle immediately after entering the scope. If you hesitate for too long, it turns into a hard-scope, which doesn’t qualify as a quickscope.
Many experienced Call of Duty players can remember at least one impressive trick shot compilation from earlier games. Such content became hugely popular when YouTubers showcased extraordinary skills and excelled in Multiplayer matches.
Moreover, there was nothing quite like outmaneuvering a friend in a sniper duel on Rust from Modern Warfare 2 (2009). Sadly, the art of quickscoping seems to be fading into obscurity. This technique is rarely featured anymore, and sniper rifles have lost their appeal in recent iterations of the game.
This guide aims to revive the sniping experience and bring it back to its former peak.
Optimal LW3A1 Frontline Quickscope Loadout in Black Ops 6
- Muzzle: Muzzle Break
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Stock Pad: Precision Pad
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Comb: Quickdraw Riser
- Stock: Heavy Stock
- Laser: Sterlok Laser
- Fire Mods: Rapid Fire
This loadout emphasizes enhancing accuracy and agility, facilitating easier trick shots and quickscopes.
Among the attachments, Rapid Fire stands out as crucial since it boosts the rechamber rate and firing speed of the sniper rifle. The addition of the Heavy Stock is also important, as it mitigates flinch, allowing for steadier shots while attempting to quickscope an opponent.
Since quickscoping hinges on speed, the Sterlok Laser significantly narrows the spread when transitioning from hipfire to aiming down sights.
Recommended Perks, Equipment & Combat Specialty for LW3A1 Loadout
- Wildcard: Gunfighter
- Perk 1: Ninja
- Perk 2: Tracker
- Perk 3: Cold-Blooded
- Specialty: Recon
- Lethal: Frag
- Tactical: Flashbang
- Field Upgrade: Sleer Agent
Choosing three blue Perks allows you to unlock Recon, enabling you to see enemies through walls for a brief moment post-respawn. This Combat Specialty provides a significant edge, as having knowledge of enemy positions right at the start can be game-changing.
Treyarch has improved the audio in Black Ops 6, making it easier to detect enemy footsteps. In light of this adjustment, the Ninja Perk becomes essential, as it dampens your own footsteps.
Next, the Tracker Perk reveals enemy footprints and highlights their positions. With the majority of maps in Black Ops 6 being compact, staying aware of enemy locations is vital.
Although it is still early in the game, Sleeper Agent is shaping up to be a preferred Field Upgrade. This frustrating ability disguises adversaries as allies, yet Vigilance grants immunity to Sleeper Agent and displays an icon on your HUD when identified on an enemy mini-map.
