Ultimate Team Matches Affected by EA FC 25 Kick-off Glitch

Players of EA FC 25, similar to past versions, have found a glitch that allows them to score instantly after kick-off in Ultimate Team mode.

Fans of Ultimate Team in EA FC 25 have raised several concerns after familiarizing themselves with the latest installment. Prominent streamer BorasLegend highlighted significant problems, such as sluggish animations, imprecise passing, poor first touches, automatic tackles, and overly effective offside traps.

Additionally, BorasLegend pointed out that tactics like the L1/LB speed boost and trivela shots from outside the penalty area are excessively utilized in competitive play.

Compounding the issue, a notorious exploit from previous iterations has resurfaced. In both EA FC 24 and earlier titles, gamers uncovered that initiating an over-the-top through ball to a forward straight from kickoff could lead to easy goals.

Bugs, a popular streamer, shared a video clip demonstrating that the kick-off exploit is once again a part of the game this year. To execute this tactic, players need only to pass the ball at the kick-off to their center midfielder, then to the CAM, followed by an over-the-top through ball at maximum power aimed at the striker.

In EA FC 25, performing an over-the-top through ball requires pressing L1 and Triangle on PlayStation 5 or LB and X on Xbox.

To switch players effectively, use the right stick to flick towards the defender you wish to control. This maneuver needs to be performed manually, as the AI-controlled center-backs will not adequately respond to prevent this exploit. While there’s always a risk that the exploit might succeed regardless of your player’s repositioning, this strategy significantly enhances your chances of thwarting it.
