Following this, he transferred to Hanlim Arts High School and made his entry into the entertainment scene after graduating.
Recently, Choi Hyun-wook appeared on MBC FM4U’s “Muzie and Ahn Young-mi’s 2 O’Clock Date” where he shared insights about his transition into acting. During the show, he recounted, “I found myself tearing up while watching movies. My friends began to wonder, ‘Have you considered acting?’” He elaborated, stating, “I moved to Hanlim Arts High School while attending an acting academy to pursue this new path.”
Within the realm of baseball, Choi Hyun-wook achieved remarkable accomplishments during his time with Suwonbuk Middle School and Gangneung High School teams. In 2017, while still a student at Suwonbuk Middle School, he participated in the prestigious 46th National Middle School Baseball Tournament, where he garnered attention by clinching the title of base-stealing champion. His baseball journey at Gangneung High School was notably influenced by notable figures like the Lotte Giants’ pitcher Kim Jin-uk.
On a different note, Choi Hyun-wook has recently been cast in wavve’s original series, “Weak Hero” . Fans are eagerly anticipating the new persona that Choi Hyun-wook, who received acclaim for his nuanced and dynamic portrayal in “Twenty-Five Twenty-One” , will present in “Weak Hero” .
