Uncovering the Hidden Message in the Credits of Deadpool & Wolverine

In addition to staying for the post-credits scene(s), there is an additional incentive to wait until the conclusion of Deadpool & Wolverine – a secret message during the credits. Caution: Spoilers ahead!

Marvel movies are notorious for keeping audiences glued to their seats until the theater lights come back on. This trend continues with Deadpool and Wolverine, as they are known for their intricate Easter eggs and meticulous attention to detail.

It is logical that the emphasis will be on post-credit scenes. With so much anticipation for a potential reveal, there is a possibility that smaller hints and clues may be overlooked, but there is certainly one that should not be missed this time.

If you take a look at the special thanks section in the credits for Deadpool & Wolverine, you will see that there is a spot reserved for a person known as Truthful Timmy, the Blowjob Queen of Saskatoon.

The nickname is considered to be rebellious, yet it is referenced by Deadpool himself halfway through the new film.

During their escape from Cassandra Nova in Nicepool’s battered Honda, Deadpool tells Wolverine that he is uncertain if the TVA has the ability to repair his universe and return this alternate version to its former state. He clarifies that his statement was merely a hopeful assumption based on his knowledge.

He continues, “They refer to me as ‘The Merc with the Mouth,’ not as ‘Truthful Timmy, the Blowjob Queen of Saskatoon.’”

The end credits reveal that this may not be entirely accurate. In order to view the acknowledgments, viewers must stay until the very end, as they are featured in the final section.

Before viewers even reach that point, there are numerous cameos and strategically placed details to sift through (pun intended), which has caused a division in opinions among critics.

Upon our personal evaluation, we characterized the film as “exhilarating, macabre, and surprisingly poignant. While its flaws may be overshadowed by the overwhelming sense of nostalgia and unapologetic delight experienced in the theater.”

On the other hand, David Ehrlich from Indiewire holds a different opinion: “Deadpool & Wolverine brilliantly utilizes the memories of 20th Century Fox as a playground for rejected characters and unresolved plotlines, resulting in some of the most clever jokes and unfulfilled potential.”
