Warzone’s SOA Subverter may not be considered a meta option, but it’s worth reconsidering due to its ease of use and high damage output. In Season 5 Reloaded, it has proven to be a top pick that could excel.
With the upcoming mid-season patch set to introduce balance adjustments, there is a possibility for previously ignored weapons to become popular in the meta. This is particularly relevant as the STG44 is expected to receive a nerf.
The SOA Subverter is capable of filling the void with its impressive mid-to-long-range firepower and user-friendly design, featuring low recoil. Additionally, it boasts exceptional damage and a top-of-the-line firing rate, making it a formidable weapon for taking down enemies.
The Battle Rifle stands out for its exceptionally clear iron sights, allowing players to use an attachment slot to enhance the weapon’s performance rather than relying on an Optic.
Despite its base magazine size of only 20 rounds, this is easily remedied with the addition of the 50 Round Drum, making it a minor inconvenience. While it may affect its mobility and handling, this can be counteracted with the use of other attachments.
The SOA Subverter was deemed the top Battle Rifle in Warzone by renowned YouTuber WhosImmortal, who commended its manageable recoil and impressive damage capabilities.
WhosImmortal ranked the SOA Subverter higher than the BAS-B and Sidewinder, stating that it was “consistently the best overall.”

This update is an excellent option, and I believe it will continue to be even more powerful following Season 5 Reloaded. It has not received much attention, and I anticipate that it will remain unchanged in the upcoming update.
