The upcoming Patch 7 is set to deliver an array of exciting features, including custom PvP lobbies, new weapon options, extensive customization, and fresh missions.

If you’re eager to explore these new features before the official launch, you can engage directly with the developers by providing feedback through the Public Test Server. Below, you’ll find comprehensive instructions on how to access it.

How to Access the Space Marine 2 Public Test Server

The Public Test Server for Space Marine 2 is available as a stand-alone title in your Steam library. This server contains content currently in development.

  • Open Steam (you may need to restart it if it’s been running for a while).
  • Go to your library (you must own a copy of Space Marine 2).
  • Search for “Space Marine 2 Test Server” and locate it beneath your regular Space Marine 2 game title.

  • Right-click on the entry, select ‘Properties’, and ensure that the default language in the General tab is set to English.
  • Download and install the Space Marine 2 Public Test Server as you would with any other game on Steam. Note that this is a separate build, and its files will be distinct from the main game.

PvE Enhancements

  • New PvE Prestige Ranks
  • New Map: Exfiltration (final boss fight excluded).Note that upon reaching the final boss arena, the “Victory” screen initiates when you interact with the terminal, transitioning into the classic mission end sequence (including loadings and result screens).
  • Expanded Weapons Class Restrictions (PvE Only: classes can now use more weapon types)
  • Enhanced PvE Matchmaking (improving the likelihood of balanced teams).

PvP Features

  • Custom PvP Lobbies
  • Improvements to matchmaking for better team balance.

General Updates

  • Rework of Weapon Perks
  • Introduction of the Inferno Pistol as a new secondary weapon (available in both PvE and PvP modes)
  • New Armoring Hall colors: Volupus Pink and Thousand Sons Blue
  • Cloth coloring options for Bulwark
  • Ability to color hands separately from arms.

DLC Information

  • “Space Wolves” Chapter Pack: included in-game but not playable.
  • “Imperial Fist” Champion Pack: included in-game but not playable.
