Kicks are a new type of cosmetic that players can equip on their characters. These shoes will include collaborations with popular brands as well as unique designs created by Epic. The new Chapter 2 Remix trailer has already showcased characters sporting these innovative sneakers.

Acquiring Kicks in Fortnite

Epic Games has announced that players can earn Kicks through two primary avenues.

While Kicks are not yet available in the game, they are scheduled to arrive alongside the v32.10 update on November 12, 2024.

Battle Pass Details

Among the offerings in the Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass is the iconic Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Black Toe Reimagined’ Kicks, adorned in a striking black, white, and red color scheme. Players can locate this item on the Dynamo TNTina page, alongside other rewards. The Battle Pass is priced at 950 V-Bucks, and players will need to earn experience points to unlock this particular reward.

In addition to brand collaborations, Kicks will also feature original designs such as the playful Cozy Chomps Shark Slippers. While Epic has confirmed that original Kicks will not be part of the Battle Pass, the price for these items has yet to be disclosed.

Kicks Compatibility with Existing Skins

Since their announcement, many players have inquired about how Kicks will work with various skins. According to Epic, Kicks will initially be compatible with “over 500 of the most popular Fortnite Outfits.”

By Spring 2025, players can expect that more than 95% of existing Outfits will support Kicks. Although some outfits may pose challenges for compatibility, Epic is committed to expanding this feature to include as many Outfits as possible.
