REP is reintroduced in NBA 2K25. For newcomers to the franchise, REP symbolizes a player’s commitment to NBA 2K, serving as a practical gauge of online gameplay quality and the number of games played.
A new feature in NBA 2K25 is the integration of REP into MyTeam. MyTeam players will now enjoy ongoing rewards and can earn a G.O.A.T. Jayson Tatum upon reaching the required tier.

MyCareer & The City
Here’s a breakdown of REP rewards in MyCareer & The City, organized by rank:
- Rookie II: Affiliation-branded Player Banner and Teammote

- Rookie IV: Ability to remove shirt in The City and MyCourt mural

How to Earn REP
REP can be gained through playing online matches in The City, REC, and similar modes in MyCareer. MyTeam REP can also be acquired through online gameplay.
In MyCareer, 2K hosts special events where players can earn double REP for a limited timeframe. Generally, substantial gameplay is essential to advance.
For MyTeam, an effective method for achieving Gold REP, necessary for unlocking the Auction House, is participating in Triple Threat Park. In this mode, players can team up with two others or engage in a 3v3 game. Similar to The City, players navigate to courts for game entries.
Accessing the Auction House makes it significantly easier to assemble a complete team of 13 players. With a maximum of three cards required for Triple Threat Park, this task becomes much more manageable.
Will REP Reset?
No, REP does not reset at the start of each season.
REP remains unchanged in MyTeam, but can reset in MyCareer if the Affiliation is modified.
