Understanding the Armory in Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

For players looking to unlock weapons or attachments from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) and Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) in Warzone, the Armory offers a streamlined solution. It also serves Black Ops 6 players by granting access to items they may have overlooked in previous seasons.

Warzone Season 1 features an extensive arsenal of 177 weapons drawn from MW2, MW3, and BO6. Although there were initial concerns that older guns wouldn’t hold their own against the current weapon lineup, Raven Software anticipated these doubts and made adjustments accordingly. However, it should be noted that they quietly removed one particular weapon from the game.

In terms of gameplay enhancements, MW2 weapons saw a reduction in visual recoil, while attachments have received substantial improvements. Based on user feedback, all shotguns and sniper rifles now possess the ability to achieve one-shot kills within their maximum damage ranges, making them more formidable in combat.

In addition to these changes, the development team took the initiative to buff specific weapons individually. As a result, players can expect older weapons to remain viable in the current meta, making it worthwhile to revisit and unlock them.

The Armory unlocks at Player Level 24 and is accessible through the Level Unlock Menu. Once inside the Armory, players can unlock items that aren’t available through traditional weapon progression. For instance, a Black Ops 6 player who missed the chance to unlock the Saug SMG before the conclusion of Season 1 can do so via this feature.

For players engaged in Warzone, the Armory functions as a portal to unlock any weapon, attachment, or Aftermarket Part from MW2 or MW3 that may have slipped through the cracks.

To unlock items, players simply need to activate the desired item in the Armory, after which it will be made available upon reaching the associated XP requirement.

For those looking to accumulate XP quickly, we recommend playing in game modes like Nuketown 24/7 for high-elimination matches, or diving into Plunder where XP is rewarded generously. Additionally, Resurgence is another excellent mode that enables players to rack up XP efficiently.
