Despite her latest event appearance, aespa member Winter continues to receive mixed reactions for her real-life visuals. This was evident on July 25, 2025, when Winter threw the ceremonial pitch for the Doosan Bears during their most recent baseball game.
Winter opted for a casual ensemble for the event, donning an oversized jersey paired with a crop top, jorts, high socks, and sneakers.

They argued that Winter did not radiate without these enhancements, noting her dull skin tone. Some even went as far as saying she looked “so normal”and not like the Winter they were familiar with.
Some argued that fansites play a role in creating an exaggerated perception of Winter by editing photos to enhance the appearance of idols. They argued that without these edits, Winter would appear to be an average person who takes care of themselves and has undergone cosmetic surgery.
According to certain Korean netizens, there were claims that her appearance was so altered that individuals in the stadium had inquired about the identity of the pitcher. They also mentioned that numerous people were taken aback upon realizing that the pitcher was actually aespa’s Winter.
