As the Ubuyashiki Family and the Corps witness Muichiro and Mitsuri revealing their Demon Slayer Marks in their battle against the Upper Moons, a glimmer of hope finally emerges.

Nevertheless, the requirements to unleash this power are far from simple. As a result, the entire Demon Slayer Corps embarks on rigorous training under the supervision of the Hashira, marking the beginning of the Hashira Training Arc. The Hashiras not only train themselves, but also their younger peers.

The Hashira only provide personal training to their chosen successor, the Tsuguko. However, due to changing circumstances, those ranked lower than a Hashira are now required to train under them. This training is split into three parts, the first being the grueling physical training supervised by Tengen Uzui. Despite his retirement following the “Entertainment District Arc,”the Sound Hashira maintains a connection to the Demon Slayer Corps.

The next phase includes receiving flexibility training from Mitsuri and high-speed training from Tokito. The final and most challenging part consists of swordsmanship with Obanai, executing infinite strikes with Sanemi, and strength training with Gyomei.

On the flip side, this training is advantageous for both the Hashira and Corps members as they will engage in sparring sessions, improving their physical abilities. The Hashira will also make an effort to create scenarios that will activate their Demon Slayer Marks. Additionally, Mitsuri, Tokito, and Tanjiro, who already possess marks, will focus on maintaining their “Mark Condition”through training.

Despite being retired, all Hashira were responsible for training the demon slayers to prepare for the upcoming battle. However, Shinobu Kocho and Giyu Tomioka did not participate due to their own reasons. This was understandable for Shinobu, who had a weak body and could not directly defeat demons. Instead, she relied on her personally created poison.

Consequently, she will be unable to assist with physical or swordsmanship training for others. Additionally, during the Hashira Training Arc, Shinobu was busy preparing poison for the Final Battle. In contrast, Giyu was not originally involved in the training, but he eventually joined due to Tanjiro’s persistent persuasions.

Despite both of them being trained by Urokodaki, Tanjiro had hoped for Giyu to be his personal instructor, but the latter refused. The Hashira Training Arc will delve into Giyu’s past and his bond with Sabito. While Giyu remains adamant about not teaching others, he will participate in a personal training regimen with Sanemi.
