EA has quietly rolled out a new feature for FC 25 Ultimate Team that requires players to wait before they can enter the game mode.
The Ultimate Team mode in FC 25 faced numerous challenges during its Ultimate Edition launch period. Issues included skyrocketing Transfer Market price ranges after EA finally updated the prices for cards that had been unavailable for days.
Additionally, players have reported considerable menu lag problems, making it incredibly frustrating to buy cards on the Transfer Market or manage their clubs. Fortunately, there is a straightforward solution to this lag issue.
However, the new feature requiring players to wait before accessing Ultimate Team may not alleviate concerns regarding the overall issues with the game mode.
What is the Warming Up Screen in EA FC 25?
If you encounter a screen labeled ‘Warming Up’ while trying to access Ultimate Team, it indicates that you have been placed in a queue.
Many online games implement a queuing system when server capacity is exceeded. Players can track their position in the queue, and after some time, they will be able to access Ultimate Team.
It’s uncertain what position in the queue guarantees access to Ultimate Team. Some players are concerned that the wait times will only increase once FC 25 officially launches on Sept. 27, especially since there is currently a queue for Ultimate Edition owners.
For those who prefer not to wait, there is an option to exit the queue. However, most players may find themselves waiting before they can enter. As of now, users have only encountered a queue for Ultimate Team, leaving it unclear if a similar system will be implemented for Clubs.
