Understanding the FaZe Banks & FaZe Kaysan Feud: Is it Genuine?

The social media world is abuzz with a viral feud between FaZe Banks and FaZe Kaysan. However, many are questioning the legitimacy of their conflict. Let’s take a closer look at the reasons behind their beef and determine if it is genuine or not.

It appears that Banks, the co-founder and CEO of FaZe Clan, is currently involved in a dispute with Kaysan as he has been publicly criticizing the streamer in a series of intense tweets.

The root of their ongoing dispute dates back to a specific event in early August 2024. During this incident, popular streamers YourRage, PlaqueBoyMax, and Silky caused chaos in Kaysan’s room at the FaZe Clan house in Miami, Florida, resulting in damage to his personal belongings.

Upon witnessing the extent of the damage, Kaysan publicly announced his decision to terminate the contract for the Miami home during a live stream, expressing his disappointment towards his fellow FaZe members for their reckless destruction of the property.

Despite the previous incident, Kaysan was not satisfied with his revenge. He proceeded to throw PlaqueboyMax’s streaming PC into the pool, causing Lacy and Stableronaldo to jump in and rescue it in shock.

On August 14, Lacy got involved in the drama by throwing two of Kaysan’s Pioneer-brand DJ decks into the pool.

“Lacy exclaimed, “Kaysan, are you seriously considering throwing my friends’ PC into the pool? I can’t believe you would prioritize Djing over anything else. Please do not cause any harm to my friends. I am extremely disappointed in you.”

Shortly after, Kaysan shared a photo on Twitter, showcasing even pricier equipment and accompanying it with the caption: “An eye for an eye.”

This is where FaZe Banks steps in. The co-founder of the organization responded to Kaysan’s actions in a passionate tweet, highlighting the significant amount of money that was being wasted on damaging expensive technology.

“Banks expressed his frustration at Kaysan’s behavior, pointing out the stark contrast between the starving children in Africa and Kaysan’s thoughtless act of throwing functional computers into the pool. However, Banks recognized the gravity of the situation and emphasized that there would be serious consequences for Kaysan’s actions, stating, “It may seem like a joke now, but it won’t be so funny when I destroy this individual’s home.”

“Are you also choosing a side?”Kaysan responded. “They were the ones who broke both of my PCs first. But I can handle things on my own.”

Banks responded, “Are you seriously throwing my paid-for PC in the pool? I don’t care about your crappy PC. If you want to throw something, throw Max’s clothes or Jason’s parents. But messing with my belongings is crossing the line. I’m actually angry right now. This is not a joke.”

It is highly probable that the apparent conflict between the FaZe Clan streamers is actually an inside joke, as evidenced by multiple posts from the official FaZe Clan account addressing the situation.

Despite this, a tweet from the organization includes a screenshot of the FaZe Clan group chat, confirming that Kaysan was removed from the conversation. The caption accompanying the screenshot reads, “Kaysan has been officially kicked from FaZe Clan.”

So far, it remains uncertain if the group is genuinely having a conflict or if it is simply a playful prank – however, it is undoubtedly keeping their fans entertained. Fans have eagerly joined in on the ongoing ‘drama’, sharing their thoughts and opinions without delay.
