The Celestial Codex is a collectible reward earned through in-game achievements. When accessed in your inventory, players can discover additional lore details presented in a descriptive paragraph.
The lore-filled description reads:
“Just like the Codex left in one’s Body after a Symbiote bonds with its host, the gods corrupted by Knull also possess this remnant. One of these Divine Codices, the Celestial Codex, is one of the more special in existence, as it has absorbed the same chronal energies that have stirred in Knull from his imprisoned slumber. Now, his trapped essence seeks to rejoin its progenitor.”
However, as compelling as the background lore is, it’s important to note that the Celestial Codex currently serves no practical purpose beyond enriching the game’s narrative. Players cannot equip it to enhance their characters; its sole function remains to be inspected for insights. While many gamers have deemed it “useless,” a portion of the community holds out hope that developers may find ways to integrate it into gameplay in future updates.
Unlocking the Celestial Codex: Steps to Acquire

To acquire the Celestial Codex, players need to complete specific tasks under the Chronoverse Saga achievements, which you can unlock by accumulating 40 Achievement Points. Follow these steps to check your progress and claim the collectible:
- Tap your player icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
- Navigate to the Achievements section.
- Select the Chronoverse Saga tab.
- Complete the listed challenges to earn the Celestial Codex.
How to Spray Towards the Celestial Codex
Exploring the achievements section, players will encounter an achievement titled “Veni Vidi V…?” which requires interaction with the Celestial Codex. Interestingly, this does not refer to the collectible itself but rather to an object located in the Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface map.

Completing this achievement can prove challenging due to the randomized nature of the maps. However, if you find yourself on the attacking team in the Klyntar map, you’re in luck—the Celestial Codex can be accessed through a glass door at your initial spawn point.
Remember, you can only reach this area once the game begins, as the door unlocks at that time. Enter the space, press “T” to open the communication wheel, and select any spray you possess to interact with the object.
