Time-to-kill (TTK) stands as a crucial statistic in Warzone, and currently, one SMG is outpacing all competitors in this regard, though it might not be part of the usual weapon meta you expect.
The upcoming Black Ops 6 is poised to revolutionize Warzone, introducing a plethora of new weapons alongside a complete overhaul of the movement system. However, players are eager to make the most of the current meta and secure as many victories as possible.
To achieve this, it’s essential to utilize the best loadout, especially for close-range engagements where SMGs with rapid TTK excel. While the HRM-9 and Static-HV have been leading the pack throughout Season 6, the Lachmann Shroud from MW2 actually has the fastest TTK of all.
This revelation was made by Call of Duty expert WhosImmortal in his October 2 video, where he analyzed the TTKs of top SMGs. He discovered that the Shroud can eliminate a fully-armored opponent in just 600 milliseconds at ranges up to 13 meters.
Beyond that distance, the Striker narrowly outperforms it between 20 and 30 meters, but the two are extremely close. Critically, at the initial damage range—where most SMG battles occur—the Lachmann Shroud remains unrivaled.
The key attachment for achieving this incredible TTK is the JAK Decimator Aftermarket Park, converting the SMG from three-round burst to fully automatic fire. Check out WhosImmortal’s recommended build below:
- Barrel: 114MM Darkstar
- Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Laser: Kimura RYL33 Laser
- Conversion Kit: JAK Decimator
However, WhosImmortal cautioned that the Lachmann Shroud has a few downsides, including limited meta attachment options since it is a MW2 weapon. He also pointed out that SMGs like the Superi 46 or Static-HV might be more favorable for players prioritizing mobility or low recoil.
Nonetheless, if your main focus is achieving the highest TTK, nothing comes close to the Lachmann Shroud in close-quarters combat. To maximize its effectiveness, pairing it with a top-notch long-range rifle, such as the DTIR 30-06 or Kar98k, is highly recommended.
