Unfun Sombra Buffs in Season 12 Cause Outrage among Overwatch 2 Players

Blizzard’s decision to buff Sombra’s Virus damage and movement speed, following her health nerf in Season 12, has sparked fury among Overwatch 2 players.

The release of Season 12 for Overwatch 2 has brought significant changes to Blizzard’s hero shooter. The addition of the new hero Juno, the introduction of the game mode Clash, and other updates have once again altered the meta of Overwatch 2.

The latest season also featured significant adjustments to the remainder of the hero lineup, as various DPS, supports, and tanks were either buffed or nerfed in the recently released patch notes.

Yet, despite the backlash from the player base, one DPS hero’s unexpected buffs managed to stir up anger and led many to label her as “unfun”.

Despite receiving a slight nerf in Season 12, Sombra’s health was reduced from 250 to 225. This adjustment translates to a slightly quicker takedown of the elusive hacker once your team finally manages to catch her.

To make up for the nerfs, Sombra’s Virus now deals increased impact damage and provides a higher bonus movement speed while stealthed, allowing her to hit with more force and disappear even quicker than before. This will give skilled Sombras the ability to swiftly eliminate a backliner and retreat without a trace.

Naturally, players have expressed their dissatisfaction with Blizzard’s decisions after the already frustrating hero received a buff.

One player expressed fear, exclaiming, “Please, end my suffering!”

Sombra’s Season 12 buffs make her even more effective at assassinating the backline.

Despite already being a popular character, the changes to Sombra have caused many players to express their frustrations, as it is now expected that even more players will choose to play as her.

Another person expressed their eagerness to keep watching her in every game.

Despite the numerous characters gaining popularity in Overwatch 2, Sombra’s rise to fame has been met with criticism for her “unfun”gameplay by many players.

“The character is absolutely detestable. They are simply not enjoyable to play against as a support,”the player groaned.

Despite the recent start of Season 12, it is likely to take a considerable amount of time for Sombra’s reign of terror to come to an end due to the monthly introduction of new patches.

Despite the fact that Blizzard is known for releasing emergency patches when the meta becomes too problematic, there is still hope for the player base to be saved.
