As a prize for finishing the initial set of Weekly Challenges in Season 5, the JAK Widemouth Kit allows players to transform the MORS into a Blunderbuss. While it may provide some entertainment, this conversion kit is not without its flaws.
Notably, the slow fire rate, inaccurate spread, and clumsy sprint-to-fire speed of this shotgun make it extremely unforgiving, resulting in a death sentence for those who use it. No one wants to wield a weapon that has a slow firing rate and a high chance of not killing their target.
Nevertheless, the JAK Widemouth Kit can achieve greater consistency when paired with this specific loadout, along with three essential perks: Commando Gloves, Mag Holster, and All-Terrain Boots.

While this may seem like a significant compromise, it works to the advantage of the Blunderbuss, as the shotgun’s sprint out time is significantly decreased without the use of Tactical Sprint.
Finally, Mag Holster proves to be an extraordinary companion for the JAK Widemouth Kit, as it offers a distinct synergy that enhances the shotgun’s rate of fire. While it is designed to solely improve reload speed, the Blunderbuss, which reloads after each shot, experiences a 15% increase in fire rate instead.
Similarly, there are players who may opt for the Gunnver Vest as a means to achieve the same outcome, in addition to having an extra primary slot to handle long-range combat situations where the Blunderbuss may not be as effective. In such scenarios, it is advisable to equip a versatile weapon such as the SVA 545 or BP50, as they both complement the shotgun exceptionally well.
