Season 1 of Squid Game in Warzone has attracted widespread attention, but an alarming infinite money glitch is disrupting matches. This glitch is granting players unlimited purchasing power for Killstreaks and various items, altering the competitive landscape significantly.
The introduction of the Squid Game crossover within Call of Duty has elicited mixed reactions from the community, with many players criticizing the premium prices of cosmetics. Additional gameplay concerns have arisen, including issues with a broken Finishing Move and an early exfiltration requirement for Zombies players.
Discovering the Infinite Money Glitch in Warzone
Recent developments highlight a serious flaw: the infinite money glitch allows players to purchase an excessive quantity of items without exhausting their game currency. Numerous videos have surfaced online, documenting this phenomenon. For instance, Reddit user u/H3roF13 shared a clip that vividly illustrates an operator acquiring countless Killstreaks, weapons, and armor plates—even as their money total remains unchanged.
YouTuber DiabFlo also showcased this glitch by demonstrating the ability to procure any desired item from the Buy Station while maintaining an unchanged balance of $11,000. Each purchase not only yielded abundant XP but also equipped them with numerous UAVs and Precision Airstrikes for the match’s duration.
Fortunately, the origin of the infinite money glitch remains uncertain at this time, which means players cannot consciously exploit it as there is no known method for triggering it. Upon my attempt to replicate the glitch in-game, my funds decreased with each item purchased as anticipated.
Another silver lining is that this glitch appears to be restricted to the Warzone Squid Game Limited Time Mode (LTM). Players engaging in standard Warzone should not face teams boasting an arsenal of Killstreaks.
The collaborative event is scheduled to conclude on January 24, ahead of the Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 update on January 28. Developers have ample opportunity to address this bug should it escalate into a more pervasive issue.
