Unlocking Perkaholic in Terminus: A Hidden Easter Egg
With the release of Black Ops 6 Zombies, players are re-emerging in the round-based gameplay that the series is renowned for. The latest installment features two maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus, where gamers are racing to unveil various secrets that lie within.
To effectively battle the relentless waves of the undead, it’s crucial to enhance your weapons through the Pack-A-Punch system and to level up your gear. Selecting the right Perk-A-Cola upgrades can drastically influence your survival; it could mean the difference between being eliminated at round 15 or achieving a high score beyond 20 while completing side missions.
Although players usually can only equip four Perks during their gameplay, the Terminus map contains cleverly concealed Easter Eggs that enable you to acquire all available Perks for free.
Steps to Acquire Perkaholic for Free on the Terminus Map
To unlock Perkaholic at no cost, you need to eliminate 50 fish throughout your gameplay.
In the map Terminus, one of the smaller yet most rewarding Easter Eggs involves hunting down fish. Yes, you read that correctly.
The terrain consists of numerous smaller islands, where players can swim or navigate by boat to discover various Perks and other items.
Each island’s shoreline is populated with small schools of fish that yield points when dispatched.
Since these fish are often hidden, the most effective approach to eliminate them is by using grenades or other explosive devices. Shooting is generally ineffective due to visibility issues.
After successfully killing the required number of fish, you will gain access to all eight Perks available on the map.
Keep in mind that the game doesn’t log how many fish you’ve killed, so maintaining your own count is essential to track your progress towards obtaining Perkaholic.
Prime Locations for Fishing on Terminus
The optimal areas to fish in Terminus include Bio Labs, Crab Island, and Shipwreck.
However, fish are scattered throughout nearly every bay and aquatic area in the Labs. Although spotting them can be challenging, they emit a subtle glow to your screen. When facing hordes of zombies, it may require some tactical grenade tossing to ensure you hit any fish that are swimming nearby.
Fish respawn at each fishing location after every round, making it feasible to achieve your goal of 50 fish kills early in the match, provided you visit each area and possess the right equipment.
