Unlock Pikachu Rock Star and Pikachu Pop Star in Pokemon Go Wild Area 2024

If you adore Pikachu in its signature outfits, there’s exciting news for you: both Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star are making a comeback in Pokémon Go during the Wild Area 2024 event.

First introduced in the 2014 games Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, these “Cosplay” Pikachu made their Pokémon Go debut in 2021. They were featured in Go Fest 2021 and shared the spotlight with the Mythical Pokémon Meloetta.

However, attendees who purchased a ticket for Go Fest 2021 could only choose one of the two Cosplay Pikachu, which limited players’ ability to complete their collection.

Fortunately for trainers, Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star will be returning during the Pokémon Go Wild Area event, offering players another chance to capture the missing member of their dynamic duo.

Trainers will have the chance to catch Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star during the Wild Area 2024 Global event, set to take place from November 23 to November 24, 2024.

Please remember that only those with Wild Area 2024 Global event tickets can encounter these Pokémon. Tickets are available for purchase at a price of $11.99 through the Shop in the Pokémon Go App.

Steps to Purchase the Wild Area 2024 Global Ticket

Open Pokémon Go on your mobile device.
Click on the Poke Ball menu icon located at the bottom of your screen.
Select the “Shop” icon.
Choose the Pokémon Go Wild Area: Global Ticket option.

How to Catch Pikachu Rock Star and Pikachu Pop Star in Pokémon Go

According to the Pokémon Go Live website, players can expect to find Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star by completing Special Research tasks, engaging in Collection Challenges, and taking snapshots throughout the event.

Although the specifics of the Special Research tasks are yet to be revealed, players will have various opportunities to catch both Pokémon during the event.

Are Shiny Versions of Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star Available?

Absolutely. During the Wild Area 2024 event, Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star will be making their Shiny debuts. This gives lucky trainers the opportunity to encounter Shiny versions of these unique Pikachu.

Catching Studded Jacket Snorlax

Studded Jacket Snorlax debuts in Pokémon Go’s Wild Area 2024

In conjunction with Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star, players will also be able to encounter Snorlax sporting a stylish studded leather jacket during the Wild Area 2024 event. This is certainly the most fashionable Snorlax since the debut of the Cowboy hat version.

Studded Jacket Snorlax will be available in 3-star raids on November 23 and 24, and trainers won’t need a Wild Area ticket to capture this unique Snorlax.

Alongside the introduction of Toxtricity, Pokémon Go trainers will really feel like a band is getting together as they enjoy the exciting experiences the Go Wild Area event offers this November.
