All the DOORS Entities in the New Update
The new update for DOORS introduced six new entities, consisting of three friendly, two unfriendly, and one neutral. Here is a breakdown of their characteristics:
The Goblin
El Goblino, a small creature, is one of the three amiable beings that you may come across in DOORS. He can be found at Jeff’s store where you can also engage in conversation with him.
Dupe
Dupe is a clever being that pretends to be a numbered door, making it challenging to avoid. To outsmart Dupe, carefully remember the previous door you entered. For example, if it was door number 35, then the next one will be 36. However, Dupe will likely appear as 37 or 38, skipping numbers to deceive you. Stay vigilant while in the Hotel to avoid falling for Dupe’s tricks.
Jeff
Similar to El Goblino and Bob, there is another friendly entity known for running a shop at Door 52 where you can purchase items. If you happen to come across this shop, make sure to pick up the Crucifix as it is quite useful for temporarily trapping entities.
Void
The void is essentially a void, lacking any tangible form. It is neither friendly nor hostile, but it can unintentionally provide assistance. If you and your friends happen to wander too far apart, the void will teleport you back to them without causing any harm.
Snare
Anytime you come across The Greenhouse and Hotel, you are in the territory of the Snare, a small green creature with the power to trap. The key to dealing with this creature is to keep a light source with you, allowing you to spot Snare on the ground and avoid it, unless you want to be ensnared for a few seconds.
Bob
Despite being a friendly skeleton, Bob is quite old and doesn’t do much. However, if you happen to interact with him, he will kill you. It’s worth noting that there is no achievement for this, so it’s best not to bother.
