The recent update of Anime Reborn has introduced an exciting secret unit to the game: the Retired Assassin Sakamoto, inspired by the beloved anime series Sakamoto Days. However, acquiring this elusive character may not be straightforward for most players.
How to Obtain the Secret Unit: Retired Assassin Sakamoto in Anime Reborn

- Acquisition Method: Summon from the Regular Banner
- Drop Rate: 0.01% Chance of Summoning
The Secret Unit Retired Assassin Sakamoto can exclusively be summoned through the regular summon banner. Though it is not listed as a featured unique unit due to its secret rarity, players have a 0.01% chance of obtaining it with each summon.
Keep in mind that there is no guaranteed drop for this unit, making luck a crucial factor in obtaining him. Sakamoto has taken the place of Rimuru, the previous secret unit available through regular gem banner summoning. Therefore, it’s wise to attempt summoning him as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
Passive Skill of Retired Assassin Sakamoto
Details surrounding this secret unit are still emerging within the community, but some have confirmed aspects of Sakamoto’s passive skill. Specifically, he possesses the ability to deal double damage (2x) to the closest enemy unit, making him particularly effective against single-target foes and bosses. Do note, however, that he is restricted to only two placements.
Given Sakamoto’s impressive rarity and exceptional single-target capabilities, he may seem like a highly desirable summon. He is particularly advantageous for players who currently lack a reliable boss-slayer or single-target DPS character in their arsenal.
