Natlan is one of the seven main regions in Genshin Impact, situated to the west of the Sumeru desert. Below, you will find all the necessary trigger requirements to unlock all World Quests and Hidden Quests in this fiery nation.
All Natlan World Quests & Hidden Quests in Genshin Impact
This section includes all Natlan World Quests and Hidden Quests not recorded on each tribe’s Reputation Board. For quests tied to specific tribes, please refer to the relevant sections of this article.
Lost in the Woods
Upon entering Natlan through the dedicated Teleport Waypoint (highlighted above), you will immediately notice golden pillars. Approach these pillars to be transported to a mysterious area, initiating the “Lost in the Woods”World Quest automatically.
It is highly advisable to complete this World Quest as soon as possible if it’s overlooked upon your initial entry into Natlan. This quest is a prerequisite for the entire “In the Footsteps of the Chosen Dragons”quest chain, comprising 10 World Quests that can be fulfilled alongside your Saurian companion.
Rite of the Bold
“Rite of the Bold”is the second phase of the Between Pledge and Forgettance quest chain. To unlock it, you must first complete the following prerequisites:
- Lost in the Woods
- Tracer No Tracing
- Seeker No Finding
- Beneath the Crystal Rock
- Peace to the Slumbering
You can find all the requirements for the quests listed above within this article.
After completing all prerequisites, advance the in-game time by two days. Then, go to the Children of Echoes and stand on the bridge depicted above. This action will automatically trigger dialogue from Paimon at the bottom of the screen (no animations). After she finishes speaking, “Rite of the Bold”will commence.
Revelations from the Past
“Revelations from the Past”marks the final chapter in the Between Pledge and Forgettance quest series. It will automatically unlock after you’ve completed “Rite of the Bold.”
To Wish Upon A Star
Navigate to the area highlighted above in Coatepec Mountain, situated east of the Ancestral Temple. You will see a blue exclamation mark appear as you get near the area, where a child gazes down into a deep chasm. Interact with him to activate the World Quest titled To Wish Upon A Star.
Stride on Rainbows, Split the Waves
Proceed to the small islet southeast of the Ameyalco Waters to encounter an NPC named Rongo. A blue exclamation mark will appear when you approach the area. Speak with Rongo to begin the quest titled “Stride on Rainbows, Split the Waves.”
The Case of the Crafting Bench
The Hidden World Quest titled “The Case of the Crafting Bench”can be initiated in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. Start from the southern Teleport Waypoint and follow the path to the eastern part of the map to find a suspicious Crafting Bench. Interact with the “Crafting Bench” to proceed.
How to Unlock All In the Footsteps of the Chosen Dragons World Quests in Genshin Impact
The World Quest series “In the Footsteps of the Chosen Dragons”requires exploration in Natlan with your Saurian Companion. You can only start it after finishing the World Quest called Lost in the Woods.
This series is not a sequential quest chain; instead, it consists of 10 standalone World Quests that may be completed in any sequence.
Tepetlisaurus Hide-and-Seek
Head to the area marked above, accessible directly from the Teleport Waypoint on the left. You will discover a field of Tepetlisauri beneath tall trees. Approaching this clearing will automatically trigger the World Quest titled “Tepetlisaurus Hide-and-Seek.”
Lights, Kamera, Action!
Begin by traveling to the Statue of The Seven in the Children of Echoes. Go directly behind the Statue of The Seven, to the area circled above, to find a lone Tepetlisauri alongside a fissure in the wall.
You will need to indwell with the Tepetlisauri to transform into one. After transforming, interact with the fissure to ascend to the top of the mountain, which is far easier than climbing it manually!
At the mountain summit, navigate to the area highlighted above to discover a Kamera with a blue exclamation mark above it. Interact with it to commence the World Quest named “Lights, Kamera, Action!”
Lies and Promises
Travel to the underground area at Tecicpac Peak using the underground Teleport Waypoint, then proceed to the area circled above to discover a Strange Yumkasaurus. Interact with it to initiate the Hidden Quest “Lies and Promises.”
For convenience, I recommend transforming into a Yumkasaurus by the Teleport Waypoint prior to heading to the quest area, as transforming will be necessary to complete the quest.
Special Friends
To unlock the “Special Friends”World Quest, head to the mountain south of the Scions of the Canopy, located in the exact location circled above. Approach the Yumkasaurus and Alpaca to trigger the quest start.
A Saurian Lover’s Ordinary Days
You can accept “A Saurian Lover’s Ordinary Days”near the waterfall north of the Scions of the Canopy. Proceed to the area circled above to locate a man surrounded by three Saurians. Approach them to automatically trigger the World Quest. Completing this will grant you the Recipe for Sour Sauce Kipper.
Weighty Wings
This World Quest takes place within a building north of Teticpac Peak. When you arrive at the area circled above, you will encounter a building with several Sauroform Tribal Warriors and a fallen Qucusaurus. Approach this area to automatically trigger “Weighty Wings.”
Waiting For Seeds to Sprout
To reach the quest location, teleport to the Ancient Watchtower Domain and climb the mountain behind it. Go to the vacant field shown in the image above to initiate dialogue between Paimon and your Saurian companion. You’ll need to guide your Tepetlisaurus friend towards three holes in the ground so it can dig up a special seed, thus triggering the World Quest “Waiting For Seeds to Sprout.”
Treasures and Collectors
Travel to the small house northwest of the Scions of the Canopy, which is easily accessible via a nearby Teleport Waypoint. You will meet an NPC named Quipia, who you must talk to in order to start the World Quest “Treasures and Collectors.”
Feeling Like Fish Today!
Initiate the World Quest “Feeling Like Fish Today!”on the shores to the south of Teticpac Peak. From the Teleport Waypoint on the right, head towards the wooden ledge in the marked area. Your Saurian companion will wander off to observe the water, prompting dialogue with Paimon and triggering the World Quest.
Gifts and Gifts in Return
Before initiating this quest, you must clear two prerequisites:
- Children of Echoes Tribal Quests, “Tepetli Dissonance”and “Hoarse Echoes”
After fulfilling the above requirements, go to the location marked in the image above, to the river west of the Teacac Rise Teleport Waypoint. You will find golden pillars at the foot of the waterfall. Enter the subspace, then move forward to initiate dialogue with your Saurian companion, officially starting “Gifts and Gifts in Return.”
How to Unlock All Children of Echoes World Quests in Genshin Impact
Below, you will find all four World Quests tied to the Children of Echoes Reputation Board. Don’t forget to claim your Reputation EXP after completing them.
Tepetli Dissonance
A Prayer for Blessings, Told to Crested Peaks Act I – “Tepetli Dissonance”represents the first part of the Children of the Echoes Tribal Chronicles. To unlock it, you need to complete the following prerequisites:
- Reach Adventure Rank 40 or higher
- Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I – Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn
Once you meet these requirements, a red exclamation mark will automatically appear in the Children of Echoes. Go to the indicated location to trigger dialogue with the crying child.
Hoarse Echoes
Following the completion of “Tepetli Dissonance,”another red exclamation mark will appear at the same location in the Children of Echoes. Visit there and speak with Iknal to start A Prayer for Blessings, Told to Crested Peaks Act II – “Hoarse Echoes.”
Beneath the Crystal Rock
“Beneath the Crystal Rock”is the first segment of the Shadows of the Mountains quest chain. To unlock it, navigate to the underground cave in the Sulfurous Veins by following the road to the right. The blue exclamation mark will appear as you get nearer to the area. Speak with the NPC named? ?? to activate the World Quest.
Peace to the Slumbering
“Peace to the Slumbering”is the second phase of the Shadows of the Mountains quest chain and will automatically unlock after you’ve completed “Beneath the Crystal Rock.”
How to Unlock All People of the Springs World Quests in Genshin Impact
The quests listed below are associated with the People of the Springs Reputation Board, from which you can claim Reputation EXP rewards upon their completion.
Those Searching for the Mysterious Island
Where the Springs Return: Act I – “Those Searching for the Mysterious Island”marks the first installment in the People of the Springs Tribal Chronicles. To unlock this quest, you must complete the following prerequisites:
- Reach Adventure Rank 40 or above
- Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I – Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn
Once you meet the prerequisite, the quest will be represented by a distinct red exclamation mark on the World Map. Upon reaching the indicated location, approach the water to instigate dialogue with Paimon regarding capturing photos of Koholasaurs.
The Legend of the Mysterious Island
Where the Springs Return: Act II – “The Legend of the Mysterious Island”is the second chapter of the People of the Springs Tribal Chronicles and is automatically unlocked following the completion of “Those Searching for the Mysterious Island.”
Journey to the Mysterious Island
Where the Springs Return: Act III – “Journey to the Mysterious Island”serves as the final installment in the People of the Springs Tribal Chronicles, unlocked automatically after fulfilling the following prerequisites:
- Archon Quest Chapter V: Act II – “Black Stone Under a White Stone”
- Where the Springs Return: Act II – “The Legend of the Mysterious Island”
Although regarded as a single World Quest, “Journey to the Mysterious Island”encompasses the following subquests that will be unlocked in sequence:
- Someone Trustworthy
- Where the Koholasaurs Gather
- The Riddle of Sea and Sky
- The Mysterious Island’s Truth
Tracer No Tracing
“Tracer No Tracing”is the first quest in the Tale of Dreams Plucked From Fire quest series. It will be visible via a blue exclamation mark located south of the Ameyalco Waters, though you will need to venture into an underground cave. Start by heading to the indicated location above, where you’ll find a destroyed ruin leading below ground. You must descend to the lowest level.
Upon reaching the lowest level, follow the path forward until you locate a blue exclamation mark above an NPC. Speak to her to begin the World Quest.
Seeker No Finding
“Seeker No Finding”marks the second part of the Tale of Dreams Plucked From Fire quest series. It will be automatically unlocked after completing “Tracer No Tracing.”
Scions of the Canopy
A Mysterious Visitor From Huitztlan
Yupanqui’s Turnfire Act I – “A Mysterious Visitor From Huitztlan”serves as the first segment of the Scions of the Canopy Tribal Chronicles. To unlock this quest, follow the red exclamation mark near Teticpac Peak, where you’ll encounter two children who will trigger the World Quest.
Two additional prerequisites must be cleared for the red exclamation mark to manifest:
- Reach Adventure Rank 40 or above
- Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I – Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn
A Hero’s Rite
“Yupanqui’s Turnfire Act II – A Hero’s Rite”will automatically unlock following the completion of “A Mysterious Visitor From Huitztlan.”
Kinich’s Deal
Yupanqui’s Turnfire Act III – “Kinich’s Deal”can be accepted after completing “A Hero’s Rite.”A red exclamation mark will automatically emerge in the Scions of the Canopy, guiding you to Kinich’s location. Approach the glowing spot to trigger the World Quest.
While “Kinich’s Deal”is listed as a single World Quest on the Reputation Board, it comprises three subquests:
- Kinich’s Deal
- I, Flame Bearer
- The Last Turnfire Night
These subquests are unlocked consecutively without needing additional prerequisites.
To the Night, What is the Night’s?
To access this quest, you must collect three Courier’s Trial Keystones, then head to the area circled above in the Ancestral Temple to instantly trigger the World Quest.
Ripe For Trouble
“Ripe For Trouble”is a World Quest accessible inside a cave, requiring a special pass to enter. Check your Quest Item section of your backpack for a Green-Edged Paper Slip, which you may have already collected along your journey. If you don’t have one, I’ll indicate where to find it.
If you don’t possess a Green-Edged Paper Slip in your backpack, head to the area circled above, near the Teleport Waypoint east of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. The arrow points to a crate that you can interact with to obtain the Green-Edged Paper Slip.
Once you have acquired the Green-Edged Paper Slip, navigate to the marked location above to find a tree structure with an underground entrance. You must glide/plunge downward to reach the bottom level.
You will find an NPC with a blue exclamation mark above her head near the entrance to the underground cave. Speak to her to initiate the “Ripe For Trouble”World Quest.
