Unlocking Goku Black in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero – A Complete Guide

Goku Black, a fan-favorite antagonist from Dragon Ball Super, has arrived in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, complete with his iconic Super Saiyan Rosé transformation. To experience gameplay with this character, you first need to unlock him, and this guide will walk you through the process.

Unlocking Goku Black and Goku Black Rosé in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

If you’ve pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, you can summon Super Shenron to instantly unlock Goku Black, Zamasu, and Fused Zamasu right from the beginning. There’s no need to progress through the story mode or accumulate Zeni to acquire Goku Black from the in-game shop.

Here’s how to unlock Goku Black if you own the Ultimate Edition:

Access the “Come Forth” menu and select “Summon Super Shenron.”
Next, choose “I want more characters” to unlock Goku Black.

You will get one wish to make each time you summon Super Shenron. After your initial wish, you will need to collect seven Super Dragon Balls for any subsequent wishes.

Players who purchased the standard version must first level up their Player Level to 20 before Goku Black will be available in their Store.

After reaching Level 20, head to Shop & Customize, then select the Shop. Under the Characters section, scroll down to locate Goku Black, available for 75,000 Zeni.

If your Zeni is running low, consider completing story mode missions and daily challenges to earn Zeni. A single episode battle can reward you with 15,000 Zeni, and you can undertake five battles to gather enough to purchase Goku Black.

Though Goku Black may not have the highest stats in the game, he remains a beloved character in the Dragon Ball universe. You can play with him in earlier episode battles, and his abilities can be enhanced by transforming into his Super Saiyan Rosé form.
